Everyday Minerals Brushes

Hey Everyone! So basically I wanted two new face brushes I looked up some reviews found out that these everyday minerals brushes were getting lots of good reviews and I decided to purchase them. I brought the Flat top brush and the Large mineral brush. BTW the softest brushes I have ever had! I used mineral foundation with these brushes and I got some crazy good results.

This is the Large Mineral Brush. It is a super long brush (it keeps hitting my poor mirror when I do my make-up!) The bristles are really dense and packed together. What I liked about this brush is that as soon as it hits your face the bristles don't go all fanned out instead it stays all packed together and you get a really nice smooth finish. No bit of your face will get left out and I only need to go over my face once with this brush.
Pro's: Best finish my face just looks creamier (I know that's weird) when I use this brush and pretty. I love how soft it is and how it feels like and it performs like a really expensive brush when it isn't expensive at all.
Cons: Only problem I found was that it kept hitting my mirror because its so long, But I don't really see that as a problem.
This is the flat top brush. On youtube and stuff the brush looks quite big but when mine arrived in the mail I couldn't believe how small it was. It wasn't a problem, but all I'm saying is don't be fooled by videos and photos on the Internet. Anyway, I love this brush it delivers and full coverage look no matter what foundation I use and it is really soft. I hate it when my foundation looks patchy and not smooth but with this brush I havent have any of those problems.
Pro's: Small, cute and works wonders
Cons: Cant think of one! Its a complete bargain that I can find a brush that works better than any Mac brush I've tried and its a quarter of the price.

I cant say which one I like best only because they both make my foundation look good anyhow. Though I do enjoy using the Flat top brush because its small and cute. I will certainly be picking a couple more of these up.

I beg you to try one for yourself so go and visit.. http://www.everydayminerals.com/store/color/brushes.html

Quick Review! Everyday Minerals Blush

This is a Everyday Minerals blush in the colour Time share. It was on offer so I kinda added it to my cart without looking at it. Its a Matte shade and it blends like magic on the skin. The colour oddly works with my skintone and just shows up as a plum shade on my dark skin. There's a lot in the container I dont think I will be running out any time soon. It doesnt fade unless I actually take my make-up off and overall I'm happy with this product. It does'nt blow my socks off but I'm still impressed.
Pros: Blends really nice and looks really fresh and pretty on the skin .
Cons: I dont really think there is a con its simply a nice blush

L'oreal Double Extension Carbon Black Mascara

Hey ladies and gents! As we all know every woman is always on the quest to find the perfect mascara and my search is just getting started. I've tried Rimmel London, Bourjois, Maybelline, Max Factor, BareMinerals, L'oreal and Benefit and I'm still not satisfied. However here I am to review L'oreal's Double Extension Carbon Black Mascara.

Its a doubled ended mascara, the white end is used first and meant to create a tube around your lashes and extend them and then you don't wait for that to dry and you are meant to put on the black end straight away.
The problem is (yes unfortunately there is a problem) that because I always put my mascara on after I put on my eye liner or eyeshadow, the white brush gets dirty with liner and bits of shadow that have lingered on my lashes. This is obviously not a problem if you dont mind the white formula getting dirty but I do and it gets on my nerves that I have to clean my brush before I put it back in the tube.

This brush is a nice big size and Its really dense. I like the results I get when I put this on afterwards my lashes are longer thicker and I cant say it curls my lashes because my afro lashes are super curly anyway. This mascara has given me the best results and I do honestly think these double sided mascaras work better than others. The results for me are amazing.
Pro's: It really lenghtens my lashes and they look really defined
Cons: The white brush gets dirty with eyeshadow and liner and its annoying!!!!

Everyday Minerals Foundation Review

Everyday Minerals may be my new favorite mineral makeup brand. Although they seem to think that there are only 5 dark skin tones in the entire world and 29 light skin tones. That's nothing new. However I love their foundations. I wanted to test their products after realizing that they actually bother to ship to the UK unlike other brands and that most of their products consist of only five ingredients instead of 30 like my other non mineral makeup. Anyway lets get onto the review and find out what I thought...
I brought two foundations in the colour Truffle (which by the way luckily matches me perfectly). The reason I brought two is because Everyday Minerals foundations come in 4 different bases. Now if your familiar with the brand you'll know what I'm talking about but if your not, you wont have a clue, so let me explain.

The four different bases are Original Glo, Semi Matte, Matte and Intensive.

Original Glo-Luminous with light reflecting minerals. Medium coverage. Normal to dry skin types.
Semi Matte-Moisturizing silk to satin finish. Full coverage. All skin types.
Matte-Oil free, Shine free. Naturally matte, Full coverage. All skin types.
Intensive-Perfectly matte with extra coverage. For normal-oily skin.

I brought the Semi matte and the intensive base and I think their both fabulous. Their creamy on the skin. My face looks fresh and dewy without me looking like I've got anything on. The intensive I use with a less dense brush and I use the semi matte with a heavier coverage brush. I honestly couldn't tell you which one is best I think they re both great. They both deliver different finishes. So all in all I'm a very happy girl!

Review of Sleek New skin revive (terracotta)

Hello, my fellow beauty freaks...
I have a new product to show you! Its Sleek Makeup's liquid foundation. I was really impressed that such a small bottle held 35ml and the fact that its oil free. Its a light to medium coverage foundation. I like the frosted glass bottle its a cute bottle too.
I brought mine in the shade Terracotta (i'm NC45 in MAC) it matches really well. There's like 12 shades so I'll doubt you wont find your colour its a really fresh and light foundation but not too light, very buildable. Although starts to look tired after 4-5hours. I prefer a more matte look and its a bit too dewy for my liking. It doesnt have a particular scent. Its nice to have a try but I still havent found my perfect foundation...
Pros: Dewy and has no oil in it. Good amount of product. Small. Doesnt feel heavy.
Cons: Could look fresher throughout the whole day. Not heavy enough to cover blemishes.

Review of Sleek One Finishing Powder

Hey my lovelies,
I was really excited to try this product as I needed a nice shimmering Finishing Powder and This was exactly what I was looking for.
I love Sleek Makeup so I wasn't surprised that another one of their products impressed me they're a really good company.
When you use the product there's this cooling sensation that you get when you use the product straight after its really refreshing. Its also like a veil and leaves skin nice and dewy. Its really pretty when the sunlight hits your face and leaves all glowy.
Works with all skintones which is nice. I like putting this over my Liquid foundation, you can even put this on your collar bone when out in the summer or something to add some essential shimmer. Lovely product with golden pink shimmers. The packaging is something I don't think will appeal to everyone but I like, its pretty! Lasts all day too xxx

Only problem is, is that its really messy as soon as you take off the seal!!!! I don't think I can travel with this product its too messy.

This is what its like sheered out on my hand, its pretty right? I love it , treat yourselves to one at Superdrug or at the sleek website, http://www.sleekmakeup.com/en/products/ONE+Finishing+Powder-256.aspx

Love ya!

Review on Superdrug's MUA range!

Superdrug brought out their £1 range ages ago but I've only recently got my grubby paws on some stuff. They have lipglosses, lipsticks, powders, blushes, bronzers, mascaras, eye dusts, eye shadow's and a lot more. I personally wasnt interested in anything but the eyeshadows, but its a great concept especially with teenagers like me with no income. If you want check them out click on the link below! xxx
Anyway on to my review... I picked up five objects (£5!) and went home to investigate. As you can see I picked up smokey eye colours as I looooooove my smokey eyes so lets get craking,
PROS:
The eyeshadows come in a nice dome shaped case a little flimsy but still sturdy, really love the size of these babies their slightly smaller than my MAC blushes which is amazing. Their nice and soft too.
CONS:
Well to be honest I find it hard to complain about things for a £1 and I cant actually find something to complain about, maybe the matte colour could be more pact together.
Shade 1: the bottom left. Pearly white colour (nice highlight) Great quality, I actually found out they last just as long as my MAC and Urban decay shadows with primer!!!!!! Really pigmented colour I used this all over my lid.
Shade 12: the top left. Strangest most unique colour of the bunch, a brown with topaz bluey-green undertones. Love this colour like crazy.
Shade 11: the bottom right. Favourite colour!!!! Used this today actually, really pretty sparkly brown with almost sliver undertones ( or maybe that's just the shimmer...) love this, very wearable and sweet.
Shade 20: the top right. Love black shadows as I always put them on my outer V to define my eyes.

Then I'm on to the Blush. Now I got shade 4 because it was the darkest. Now I black, so this comes out as a nice shimmery pink. I always thought pinks look rubbish on dark skin but its really pretty. Doesnt last all day but no blush does. Lovely shimmery pink.
Overall really happy!
