Hey ladies and gents! As we all know every woman is always on the quest to find the perfect mascara and my search is just getting started. I've tried Rimmel London, Bourjois, Maybelline, Max Factor, BareMinerals, L'oreal and Benefit and I'm still not satisfied. However here I am to review L'oreal's Double Extension Carbon Black Mascara.Its a doubled ended mascara, the white end is used first and meant to create a tube around your lashes and extend them and then you don't wait for that to dry and you are meant to put on the black end straight away.
The problem is (yes unfortunately there is a problem) that because I always put my mascara on after I put on my eye liner or eyeshadow, the white brush gets dirty with liner and bits of shadow that have lingered on my lashes. This is obviously not a problem if you dont mind the white formula getting dirty but I do and it gets on my nerves that I have to clean my brush before I put it back in the tube.
This brush is a nice big size and Its really dense. I like the results I get when I put this on afterwards my lashes are longer thicker and I cant say it curls my lashes because my afro lashes are super curly anyway. This mascara has given me the best results and I do honestly think these double sided mascaras work better than others. The results for me are amazing.
Pro's: It really lenghtens my lashes and they look really defined
Cons: The white brush gets dirty with eyeshadow and liner and its annoying!!!!
